Make sure you're on the ModLoader v3 orlater.
No mods folder? Make one! (in .minecraft, and nowhereelse.)
Do NOT use jzip for unzipping.
Old Portals and old HEPCatchers will not work/crash if used with 1.5_01!
If you CANNOTCRAFT anything, you installed it incorrectly.

If you are crashing with HEP or EEI, make sureyour ModLoader is UP TO DATE.

Uses blockIDs 104 - 109, itemIDs13201-13206 by default. Can be changed in properties.

Here'show to craft it:
Apparently mixing redstone with lapis lazuliproduces an interesting substance.
Harvestedproperly, this substance has the ability to create a pair or portalson most areas in the minecraft world!
You pressthe G key to "flick the switch" on the gun and use theportal of the other colour.
You press the R key toreboot the gun, wiping out the currentportals.

Makeyourself a weighted storage cube!
Givingthe weighted storage cube a rose (right click it) will turn it into aweighted companion cube!

Itloves and cares for you so much, every 5 seconds it heals you by halfa heart if its in your inventory! (Note: multiple companions have thesame effect  )

Smelting the cube (how could you D:) will giveyou a Music Disc!

Createthe Material Emancipation Grid. This grid has three methods, onlyerase portals as you walk through it, or erase portals AND incinerateeverything that touches it! (except you, your gun, and itself)
Update1.4v1 adds Mode 3, which is the same as Mode 2 except your inventorydoesn't get wiped.

Create theHigh Energy Pellet launcher and catcher!

Catcher
Whenthe launcher is powered it will release a high energy pellet whichkills (or knocks back, depending on mode) on impact. Bounces offblocks too  Whenit bounces too many times, travels too far or too long it becomesunstable and spontaneously combusts.
If caught in thecatcher the catcher will start generating redstone power, yes, itsthat simple! You can release the captured HEP by right clicking thecatcher with a pickaxe.

Known issues:
- Crafting the grid will duplicate abucket.
- Arrows don't work on portals or grids.
- Jumps downat high speed into a portal doesn't work very well.
- The HEPCatcher doesn't render in the inventory properly.
